Do you need support?
We support people in prostitution and people who have been trafficked for the purpose of sexual exploitation. We walk beside individuals in difficult life situations, with everyday questions, if they desire to exit prostitution, and with the development of a new perspective for the future.
Research Report: Trafficking of Chinese Women to Europe
According to the EU data collection on the trafficking in human beings (European Commission, 2018), Chinese women and girls represented the third largest group of registered third-country nationals trafficked in the EU between 2010 and 2016. There is, however, still very little research being done on the trafficking of Chinese people in Europe.
In the context of the EU-funded project “Intersectional Approach to the Process of Integration in Europe for Survivors of Human Trafficking” (INTAP), the research report Heart Works published (EN/DE) accomplishes the following: First, it provides more information on how the trafficking of Chinese women to Europe happens and what particular challenges these women face. Secondly, it gives recommendations for how to best facilitate their process of integration into the society of their European host country.
